Ludo Pittie leads WSP’s 75-strong UK landscape and urban design team. He leads WSP’s landscape strategy and design thinking, currently driving a global WSP exploration of ‘the Future Ready Landscape’ which strives to anticipate future needs, and embed adaptable design practices to create sustainable places that are ready for today and tomorrow. Ludo believes in championing the role of nature in the built environment as a key future focus, and co-led WSP’s Biodiversity in the City initiative.

Professionals with a suitable balance of education and experience can apply to become a Recognised Practitioner in Urban Design. The distinction provides a wide range of professionals with a valued affiliation (in many cases an additional one), proclaiming their commitment to and experience of urban design.
