Paul Osborne

I am passionate about sustainable placemaking and designing with nature to improve health and wellbeing of people and communities. I am currently Green Infrastructure Project Manager at East Devon District Council, delivering multi-functional greenspace, active transport and nature recovery in the Clyst Valley Regional Park.

I am a chartered landscape architect and urban designer with over 25 years’ experience in sustainable placemaking, design and delivery of high quality urban design, landscape and public realm schemes. 

Working with stakeholders, communities & a wide range of professionals I have delivered Green Infrastructure, sustainable development and regeneration projects at a range of scales, primarily across the south west of England. I have a broad range of experience designing and delivering mixed-use regeneration, residential, commercial and leisure development and public realm projects in the UK and Middle East. 

I am Fellow of the Landscape Institute; Urban Design Group Recognised Practitioner of Urban Design, High Street Task Force Expert and a professional practice examiner for the Landscape Institute. I am an experienced Design Review Panel member. I was a key member of a mixed professional team that produced Exeter's Residential Design planning guidance which won the Urban Design Group's 2012 public sector award.
