Tim Brandt

Tim is an organised and dynamic Urban Designer with an eye for detail and a passion for design and the built environment. Coming from a planning background, he is a full member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and an Urban Design Group ‘Recognised Practitioner’.

Tim has previously worked for international consultants and architecture firms who specialise in residential design and strategic masterplanning. Tim has led projects for both public and private sector clients and has experience of working for a number of national and regional house builders taking projects through to delivery. Tim also sits on design review panels offering impartial and independent design review to applicants and local authorities on design issues.

Tim’s approach to masterplanning is based around the retention of landscape features and acknowledgment of townscape contexts. This approach has allowed him to gain planning permissions for a number of outline and detailed schemes and then witness how a clear vision and set of design principles can shape and inform delivery.
