Lowri Nicholson
As a relatively recent graduate from an MA in Urban Design in 2021 and working in the industry for over 3 years, I am always looking to push the boundaries of what can be achieved in terms of design. I love to critique my own work and always look to engage in conversations that encourage further exploration, to produce designs of the highest quality.
I have experience working on projects across the breadth of the UK in all scales including residential, mixed use, and commercial sites.
My particular area of intreast is in the design of development centres, where communities will come together, and utilise public open spaces. My final dissertation focussed on the role of markets on the high street and how a ‘successful’ market can have a positive effect on the experience of place. The outcome of the project emphasised the importance of flexible open space that can have a multiple different uses and users.
In all aspects of my role at edge, I look to provide both the advanced technical skills and creativity that is required to bring forward successful sites for future developments that enhance our built and natural environment for the better.
