Matthew Hawkes

Matthew has over 22 years of experience in residential development and the built environment. Spanning both public and private sectors, successfully delivering large-scale, multi-award-winning projects whilst managing multi-disciplinary teams across the country.

In his current role for a large PLC, Matthew’s focus is on quality concept and framework plans, leading to securing planning permission with a keen eye for detail and emphasis on sustainable place making.

Matthew has completed a wide range of projects and overcoming many challenging sites; either greenfield, brownfield, urban regeneration or strategic urban extensions. Matthew utilises his in-depth knowledge in technical master planning and design creativity to ensure practical solutions are provided for complex constraints, often leading to unique opportunities.

Matthew also works closely with design consultancies, Homes England, Local Planning Authorities, key stakeholders and local communities, bringing a key vision to creating thriving, healthy, mixed-use communities for current and future generations.
