Chris Wong
Chris is a Registered Architect and Recognised Practitioner in urban design with over 16 years’ experience in architecture, landscape and masterplanning. Chris is a member of the RIBA NW Places Matter Design Review Panel and teaches on the MA Architecture & Urbanism course at Manchester Metropolitan University. Chris has extensive experience in leading complex urban regeneration projects from strategic stage through to implementation.
Throughout his career Chris has led multiple public and private sector projects across the northern region and London. He has a thorough understanding of working within the parameters of local planning policies to realise urban redevelopment and public realm design schemes across different scales. Living and practicing in Hong Kong and China has also allowed him to gain global perspective on urbanism and future urban growth.
Beyond project leadership he also has extensive experience in coordinating stakeholder and community engagement events, chairing design team meetings and liaising with local authorities and clients from various backgrounds to achieve consensus and approval.
