Katy Neaves
Katy is a dual qualified urban design and landscape architect and has been working within the private sector for over twenty years. She is currently Managing Director at Neaves Urbanism and has previously worked for Turley, ARC Landscape Design & Planning, Allen Pyke Associates, DLA Design Group, Corus Rail Consultancy and Babtie, before it became Babtie Jacobs.
Her urban design experience to date has included working in a range of sectors from large scale master planning and townscape analysis through to the detailed resolution of development parcels using design coding. She has also been involved in a number of townscape character and visual impact assessments.
As well as being a chartered landscape architect Katy is also a Recognised Practitioner of the Urban Design Group. She gained an MA in Urban Environmental Design from Leeds Metropolitan University in 2003.
Katy has been a member of the Urban Design Group since 2005 and on the Executive Committee between 2010 and 2018 when she also became a Recognised Practitioner. She is a member of a number of Design Review Panels including the London Boroughs of Richmond upon Thames, Wandsworth and Sutton.
