GUIDANCE
UDG Director, Robert Huxford represented the Group in review meetings on the draft Department for Transport Guidance on the Use of Tactile Paving; and the draft guidance on Inclusive Mobility which endeavours to address the needs with blind, partially sighted and mobility impaired people.
DESIGN COUNCIL NETWORK OF EXPERTS
The Design Council have announced their panel of built environment experts who will provide vital independent support to their work and work to champion better design quality in the UK and internationally. UDG’s Exec Committee have a number of appointments: Paul Reynolds and Amanda Reynolds as Associates; and Christopher Martin as a Specialist in Urban Design and Transport.

COALITION CONVERSATIONS
Behind the scenes discussions were held on regeneration and the repurposing of high streets with members of RICS, and the potential for inter-generational living and the design of building and built environment that would enable this to happen.
