AtkinsRéalis is a multidisciplinary masterplanning, urban design and landscape architecture practice working across the UK and internationally to shape complex places at every scale – from strategic growth frameworks and new settlements to city-centre regeneration, transport-led development and long-term estate transformation.

Our masterplanning and landscape architecture teams operate as a single, integrated urban design practice. This brings together spatial strategy, landscape-led thinking and delivery-focused design under one roof, allowing us to respond to the environmental, social and infrastructural challenges facing towns and cities in a genuinely joined-up way.

We work collaboratively with clients, local authorities, communities and design teams to translate policy, evidence and ambition into clear spatial frameworks that can be delivered over time. This allows us to support clients at the moments when early spatial decisions have the greatest long-term impact – helping to align design quality with deliverability, climate resilience and inclusive growth.

Across all our projects, we place long-term place stewardship, environmental performance and social value at the heart of our approach. We believe good urban design is both visionary and pragmatic: grounded in landscape, responsive to context, and capable of evolving over time as places grow and change.
