Her City Walk in Bristol
from £6.12

A guided city walk focused on women and girls’ safety, using Her City guidance to explore how urban spaces are experienced.
Join us for a guided city walk around Bristol City Centre focused on women and girls’ safety, using Her City guidance to explore how urban spaces are experienced. Together, we’ll identify areas that feel unsafe, overlooked, or in need of improvement, and highlight opportunities for more inclusive design.
Following the walk, we’ll host a feedback discussion at Cundall’s office to share insights and ideas, before wrapping up with informal networking and drinks. This is a great opportunity to contribute to shaping a safer, more inclusive city while connecting with others passionate about urban design.
Participants will work in small facilitated groups, using the principles taken from the Her City toolbox, including visibility, safety, wayfinding, and inclusion, to assess each location. Observations will be captured through focused visual documentation and the walk will conclude at Ryder’s office with a group feedback session, where key themes, shared experiences, and potential interventions will be discussed.
