This year, we will explore the theme ‘Places for LIFE’, drawing inspiration from Glasgow and beyond. Expect an outstanding programme featuring leading speakers, guided walks, engaging discussions, and plenty of opportunities for meaningful conversations and networking. 

Throughout the programme, we will explore the following topics: 

  • Places After dark; 
  • Design for easy navigation;  
  • Heritage and distinctiveness; 
  • Making towns and cities for women and girls; 
  • Safer parks and greener streets; 
  • Creating places for children.  

Further themes and topics to be announced in due course. 


Building on the conversations sparked at the ‘Why Aren’t We Delivering More Successful Places?’ UKREiiF fringe event and the ‘More Homes, Better Places’ summer conference in Lewes, we invite you to help push the conversation forward in Glasgow. 

This year’s conference will conclude with a series of workshops, bringing delegates together to develop practical recommendations for change. Working collaboratively, participants will identify opportunities to improve existing government policy and guidance, helping to shape a shared agenda for delivering more homes, creating better places and successful communities.
