Tibbalds is an independent, employee-owned practice. We connect planning, urban design and architecture to improve everyday life – creating places that work for the people who use them.
We work across the full development process – from policy and strategy through to planning permissions and delivery. Whether we're leading projects or working as specialist consultants within wider teams, we bring the same commitment to design quality, collaboration and rigour.

Our work ranges in scale from strategic growth plans to garage sites, from sensitive regeneration in historic town centres to new communities planned from scratch and everything in between. Every project is different, but they all begin with the same question: will this make life better for the people who use it?
