Urban Design Walk: Leeds
From £6.12

Join us in Leeds! This event is for anyone interested in urban design to chat, connect, and share ideas.
A walk and open discussion (~1 hour), guided by colleagues from Leeds City Council’s Design & Projects Team and Place & Regeneration Programmes, exploring current and future urban development around the Temple District, its opportunities, challenges and possibilities.
The walk will be followed by informal drinks and networking at the Water Lane Boat House, providing an opportunity to continue the discussion.
Join us to explore areas where some developments are already underway or partially completed, while others are still to come. Rather than providing a formal presentation of fixed plans, the aim is to encourage an open discussion around the opportunities and challenges involved in regenerating and creating a new piece of the city.
Topics are expected to include Temple Works, the emerging South Bank neighbourhood, public spaces, connections and placemaking, considering both what is currently proposed and what could be possible in the future.
Hosted by: Jordi Campo-Bria, Member of the UDG.
