Linked to the Summer 2025 edition of the Urban Design Journal, please join us for an event exploring the increasing influence of community-led organisations in delivering new neighbourhoods.

We will hear from three speakers, including:

Lev Kerimol from Community Led Housing London - who will explain how his organisation is supporting the increasing numbers of community-led housing groups forming across the Capital as they try to find ways to deal with the homes crisis;

Neil Murphy from TOWN - who will talk about how the success of their award-winning Marmalade Lane project has led them to form a new joint venture with Hill Group focused on scaling up cohousing and community-oriented development;

Neil Emery from Clifton Emery Design – who will talk to us about their 2025 Davidson Prize winning project ‘300 Homes within a Union Street Mile’ which focussed on regenerating a Plymouth High Street through community-led development;

Following which we will have a chance for Q&A and Discussion. The event will be chaired by Paul Reynolds, UDG Chair and Topic Editor for this latest edition of the Journal.
