An online masterclass featuring the three finalists from the UDG Awards Design Code category
Concluding five categories of Practice Awards, involving 40 judges, over two separate panels for longlisting and shortlisting, seeking out exceptional answers to current urban design challenges.
Following the project presentations by the finalists, the winning project will be announced. Join us while we celebrate the UDG National Awards 2022 / 23 with a masterclass from the three finalists from the Design Code category.
A 10 minute talk from each practice on the project entry and maximum 10 minute question time after each presentation, e.g.:
12:30 Introductions / online arrivals / kick off
12:40 First Presentation – Somerset West & Taunton District Council: Districtwide Design Guide
12:50 – 10 minutes max, questions from the audience
13:00 Second Presentation – Allies & Morrison: Hounslow Design Codes
13:10 – 10 minutes max, questions from the audience
13:20 Third Presentation – Pollard Thomas Edwards: Cherry Hinton Design Code
13:40 – 10 minutes max, questions from the audience
13:50 Category Winner, as voted by the Judging Panel, will be announced.
