Streets have a vital role for our future. Increasing active travel, transforming conditions for pedestrians, meeting 'net zero', healthier lifestyles, freedom of children, safety of women, survival of high streets, prevention of flooding….all these issues and more depend on better streets. We look at how we can make better walking environments now and in the future.

Spread over several events during 2023 the Better Streets Summit will bring leading experts, latest projects and visionary thinking into the public domain.

Future events will cover a wide range of topics, including the ecosystem of streets, historic streets, new developments, streets to transport hubs, the impact of pedestrianisation
