Trees, People and the Built Environment 4

Wednesday 3 February 2021 - 10:00 to Thursday 4 February 2021 - 16:30
Online

The Urban Design Group has partnered with the Institute of Chartered Foresters for the forthcoming Trees, People and the Built Environment 4 online conference, 3-4 February 2021.

This cross-disciplinary conference on urban greenspace aims to facilitate discussions around the future of urban development and increase awareness of the role of trees in the built environment.

If we are going to increase our urban trees numbers it is really important that there is extensive collaboration across all disciplines and, indeed, all those engaged with the built environment.

Understanding the issues is a critical part of the process and attending this conference would be of great value to everyone.

UDG Director, Robert Huxford will chair a session on Woodlands, Weeds and White Privilige which will explore the different uses and requirements of open space and parks across the community, and the conflicts there in.
