Vacant Property Space - Meanwhile Uses - Creativity and Innovation.

Thursday 13 December 2012 - 9:00
Coastal Housing Group’s Office, 220 High Street, Swansea SA1 1NW

Organised by CREW (Centre fo Regeneration in Wales) and Regeneration Skills Collective Wales

Chaired by Professor Andrew Davies, former Welsh Government Minister for Economic Development

This event is designed to further debate the regeneration value of developing meanwhile/interim uses in locations where new uses are required to promote economic growth, environmental improvement and social inclusion, whilst a longer period of change is underway. This short-term and long-term management of change requires creative and pro-active regeneration programmes and initiatives, facilitated by all agencies including those in the public, private, and third sectors and from within academia.

This event will concentrate on creative ideas for the use of vacant property as well as providing practical advice from a property management perspective about how to facilitate meanwhile uses. Its content will be of particular value to representatives of public, private, and not for profit organisations that are involved in property management and regeneration projects.
