University of Greenwich MA & Diploma Lanscape Architecture Graduate Show 2012

9am-6pm, 23 - 28 June 2012 (show closes at 3pm on 28th)

The University of Greenwich is proud to present an exhibition of the 2012 graduating students from our postgraduate courses in Landscape & Garden Design. The exhibition includes work from over 50 students, representing the MA Landscape Architecture, Diploma in Landscape Architecture, MA Garden History, MA Garden Design and MSc Landscape Planning and Assessment, with selected works from our undergraduate BA (Hons) Garden Design and BA (Hons) Landscape Architecture programmes.

Starting from the prime meridian in Greenwich, Nineteen Seconds West is curated to take you on a global journey, exploring themes that encapsulate climate change, sustainable living, conservation and ecology, through a diverse range of projects that focus on public spaces, parks, communities and nature reserves. The international flavour of the exhibition is indicative of the range of student nationalities on the courses, with local students rooting the exhibition firmly in London and the southeast; 20 projects are designed for London sites alone, and a further 16 for the southeast of England. The full scope of work stretches from New Mexico in America to Wroclaw in Poland.

The event will be held in the beautiful surrounds of Queen Anne Court on the Universitys Greenwich Maritime campus, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site in Royal Greenwich.

The exhibition is kindly supported by Wyevale East Nurseries, a wholesale supplier of top quality hardy nursery stock with the largest range of stock plants in the south east ( ) and by the University of Greenwich (
