Inchbald School of Design: Lunchtime Lecture by Leading Interior & Garden Designers

The prestigious Inchbald School of Design, educating the leading figures of the design world for over 50 years, is to host a lunchtime lecture lead by the prestigious alumnus Phillip Nixon andStephen Dick at the Victoria and Albert Museum on Friday 14 September.

Both renowned for their innovative and creative designs across an impressive portfolio of past and present projects, Nixon and Dick will aim to provide an insight into the fascinating world of interior and garden design with an interactive discussion on design within the complete personal environment, both interior and exterior.

About Philip Nixon

After receiving his training at Inchbald, Philip Nixon has gone on to become an extremely influential garden designer transforming country, urban and show gardens as well as public spaces. He has also undertaken projects in hotels and architecture and furniture projects. Nixon has founded an eponymous design studio, Philip Nixon Design,which takes an unusually multi-disciplinary/collaborative approach that combines garden and landscape design with architecture/furniture for a series of unique, bespoke projects. About Stephen Dick

Stephen Dick, the highly trained and respected interior designer, graduated from Inchbald in 2005 with distinctions in both the Diploma and Postgraduate Diploma in Architectural Interior Design, and was awarded the Principals Prize. His design expertise includes high-end residential and commercial projects and international five-star hotels. In 2007 he set up Residence Interior Design to focus on creating highly individual, contemporary spaces without compromise on luxury or comfort.(www.residenceinteriordesign.com)
