Exhibition Road is home to some of the most important visitor attractions in the country, a unique collection of cultural and educational institutions and London's most ambitious "shared surface" scheme.
The schemeis now completed -in spite of pressure from various campaigners - transforming the road into a place where cars and pedestrians are given equal importance, with little or no clear border between pavement and road.
This tour will first look at the award-winning Kensington High Street regeneration scheme, completed in 2002, and will then continue to Exhibition Road.
