Over the past 10 years there have been massive changes in Londons public spaces, with funding and leadership coming from both public authorities and the private sector. This event will assess the progress so far and the wide-ranging views about how London should move forward in the future.

Speakers will include:

  • Matthew Carmona, Professor & Head of Bartlett school of Planning UCL / Topic editor of Urban Design issue 118 on Designing London
  • Anna Minton explores the issues addressed in her article Private versus Public in Londons Public Space Provision (Urban Design 118)
  • Lindsey Whitelaw, UDG Patron and Founding Partner of Whitelaw Turkington Landscape Architects
