UDG Christmas Celebration at the 1901 Arts Club

Join the UDG to celebrate Christmas in fin du siécle style at the 1901 Arts Club. Guests will be treated to an evening of music, edifying conversation & reflections on urbanism c.1900, plus a healthy dose of festive cheer!

The evening will include presentations from Rob Cowan on Sir Ebenezer Howard whose book Garden Cities of Tomorrow (1898) resulted int he foundation of the Garden Cities Movement and Patricia Craggs, from Alan Baxter Associates, discussing housing in Letchworth Garden City.

There will also be Viennese salon music, Victorian music hall & traditional carols for allwith Martin Hall FRCO (piano) & Robert Huxford (tenor).
