Thursday 26 May 2011 - 9:15
Guildford

Places are available at the Annual Symposium of the ReVISIONS project in Guildford on 26th May at the Mandolay Hotel and Conference Centre.

The ReVISIONS project, a Sustainable Urban Environment Project (SUE2), is investigating whether particular spatial planning policies in conjunction with 'green' infrastructure technologies and regulations can make city regions more sustainable. It will produce guidance for decision makers on the interrelationships between regional spatial planning, infrastructure design and economic competitiveness. The aim is to reduce environmental impacts and allow households to live more sustainably, with better health and an enhanced quality of life.

ReVISIONS is a major EPSRC funded four year research project with six university partners and support from a range of non-academic organisations, including government departments, regional development agencies, Environment Agency, utility companies and consultants. For more details about the project please go to the website: www.regionalvisions.ac.uk.
