A line-up of around30 of Europe's most far-sighted entrepreneurs, inventors and thinkers present their thoughts on the fundamental trends of our age, They will speak from a range of disciplines on how our homes, lives and cities will be transformed by an urbanised, environmentally conscious and technologically empowered humanity.

Speakers include:

  • Stephen Bayley- Design guru and Consultant: Founding Director of the Design Museum on A Circular Saw, a Gauloise and a little Red Wine.
  • Alan Penn- Professor of Architectural and Urban Computing at The Bartlett, UCL on Cities at the Phase Boundary
  • Steve Rayner- James Martin Professor of Science and Civilization at the University of Oxford on The Urban Paradox: Cities as sites of innovation and innertia
  • Patrick Blanc- Botanist and landscape architect on The vertical garden, from nature to cities
