Feeling down? Worried about the economy looking like a black hole? Then come to the Urban Design Groups annual celebration of the festive season at the Brunel Museum Rotherhithe and see how a hole can be turned into a party!
Sitting amidst the converted warehouses & listed buildings of the atmospheric St Marychurch Conservation Area, this award-winning museum exploring the story of Brunel and the Thames Tunnel is one of Londons hidden gems. Not only will guests have the chance marvel at exhibits detailing Brunels technical achievements but for intrepid guests there will also be a tour of the Thames Tunnel Grand Entrance Hall, inaccessible for 145 years and only recently reopened.
Only the Urban Design Group brings you unique historic environments, dynamic company, and the opportunity to get on your hands and knees to inspect one of the worlds most important and - literally - ground breaking pieces of urban infrastructure!

The Museum is easily accessible via the new East London Overground Line to Rotherhithe Station (only two minutes walk from the museum) or the Jubilee Line to Canada Water (10 minute tube journey from Green Park)
Please note: Sensible footwear essential for tour of the Thames Tunnel Entrance Hall which is only accessible via a low, narrow doorway and temporary staircase.
