Tresham College, Wellingborough

Woods Hardwick was involved in a competition to redevelop the existing college campus in the town centre.

The proposal retained the existing buildings and over-clad the facades with a perforated mesh screen to create a bespoke Tresham College Design.

Our designs respected the historic context with a polished concrete wall that ran the full length of the site, providing a linking pine through the complex. This cord also sub-divided internal and external spaces, aiding wayfinding through the complex. The competition outcome is to be determined.
