Teach Soilse Fhanáda

VHA Architects were commissioned by Údarás na Gaeltachta to lead a multi-disciplinary design team to undertake and prepare a masterplan and corresponding planning application for Ionad Chuairteoirí Chionn Fhánada/Fanad Head Visitor Centre.

The intent for the new Ionad Cuairteoirí Chionn Fhánada is to create a viable, sustainable and long term visitor centre that will provide for the needs of existing and future visitors to the Fanad Head peninsula, Co. Donegal, as well the needs of the local Fanad community.

A comprehensive project process was undertaken between VHA Architects. A number of design proposals were
prepared and strongly informed by community and stakeholder engagement. The planning application scheme was also supported by a Business Case Report, which was prepared to provide a robust economic and fiscal viability case for Ionad Cuairteoirí Chionn Fhánada.
