RMA at Western Expansion Area, Milton Keynes

Pegasus Group provided work to support a successful bid for a parcel of land in the Western Expansion Area, Milton Keynes. We assisted in gaining approval for a Reserved Matters Application of 111 dwellings on Parcel 10.1.G located to the south-western end of the City Street within Area 10 of the WEA masterplan. Pegasus Group provided urban design, landscape design and architecture services to the client CALA homes.

The constrained site required a continuous frontage to the City Street and a contemporary architectural style to the dwellings in accordance with the site’s approved Design Code. We produced some bespoke housetypes and apartments for the project to deliver the requirements of the code and to work with the various parcel constraints including limited vehicular access, retention of landscape features and ecological areas.

Milton Keynes' Landscape Architect provided the comment “I am very pleased with the care and attention that CALA Homes have made to address the landscape comments and the result is a high standard of landscape design which the development and occupants will be able to enjoy once established”.

Pegasus Group has now been instructed on a further development parcel for the client.
