The MCD Urban Design and Planning provides students with insights into the social, economic, and environmental challenges that our cities are facing and helps them to understand how planning and design can contribute meaningfully to the delivery of more sustainable environments. Through the course, students will become familiar with various planning and urban design tools and methods that are used to address these challenges and learn how they can be applied to specific contexts; they will engage with real-life project and work at different spatial scales. 

The course is fully accredited by the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
