National Urban Design Awards 2022 | Frameworks + Masterplans

This Award is for Urban Design Frameworks and Masterplans for projects that have been created within the last three years, and are as yet unbuilt, or only partially built. 

Open to all practices, community and other organisations, local authorities, branches of government.

We are looking forward to receiving projects that:

  1. are people friendly
  2. reflect current best practice guidance on technical design (eg highways, drainage)
  3. reflect current best practice guidance on wider design issues such as context, identity, movement, resources etc
  4. would help local councils meet legal duties such as climate change mitigation and adaptation, and the 2050 net zero carbon emission target

Entry Process

Please complete the self-assessment questions below .

2.

If the self-assessment is favourable, please

- complete the rest of the form,

- download the A3 entry form template, and

pay the entry fee (unless you are a council, community organisation or not for profit)

3.

Create your entry following the A3 entry form template

save as a high resolution pdf - and

send to awards@udg.org.uk using a file transfer service eg Wetransfer, Dropbox etc.  by 8 August 2022
