Residential Layout Designer
We are an award-winning Urban Design and Masterplanning studio in Thame and a shiny new studio in Birmingham. We are currently working on a range of exciting residential led masterplanning projects and are looking for an experienced Residential Layout Designer to support our growing team!
What we are Looking for: An enthusiastic and talented individual with at least 4 years’ experience in residential led masterplanning and layout design, with a keen interest in placemaking.
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in a relevant subject related to urban design or architecture. Alongside this, we’d love to hear from candidates with:
- An ability to both engage in team working and work independently.
- Excellent design and layout skills with a particular focus on residential masterplanning with a focus on placemaking.
- Strong technical understanding of UK legislation relating to layout design.
- Strong visual communication skills through CAD, hand drawing, and preferably Sketch-Up.
- An enthusiastic, innovative and pro-active approach to work with strong problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication, organisation and time management skills.
- Interest in proactively engaging with developing a growing business.
