Assistant Urban Designer

Thame or Birmingham, including hybrid/flexible if appropriate

We are an award-winning Urban Design and Masterplanning studio with offices in Thame and Birmingham. We are currently working on a range of exciting residential led masterplanning projects and are looking for an Assistant Urban Designer to support our growing team!

What we are Looking for:
An enthusiastic and talented individual with at least 1 years’ experience, post degree, in masterplanning and placemaking, with the ability to support on projects of various scales and stages of design.  

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in a relevant subject related to urban design. A master’s degree in Urban Design or Architecture is preferrable but not essential. Alongside this, we’d love to hear from candidates with:

  • Excellent visual communication skills through hand drawing, Adobe suite/CAD and preferably Sketch-Up.
  • An enthusiastic, innovative and pro-active approach to work.
  • Effective verbal and written communication, organisation and time management skills.
  • The ability to positively contribute to and engage with team working.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
