JTP is an award winning, international placemaking practice of architects and masterplanners.
From our studios in London and Bristol we undertake placemaking projects at every scale, from cities and towns, to neighbourhoods, streets and the design of individual buildings.
JTP is creating a number of new neighbourhoods and new settlements at both outline planning and detailed design stages and are looking to recruit an experienced Urban Designer who is as excited as we are about the creation of new sustainable places.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 – 3 years post qualified experience gained in a design practice working on large scale urban design and masterplanning projects. A background in architecture is highly desirable but not essential.
The successful candidate will have excellent written, verbal and graphic communication and be proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, CAD and hand-drawing.
Our unique approach and investment in people has received high praise, recognised with over 200 design and people-related awards including being named AJ100 Employer of the Year 2019 and Highly Commended 2021, and a Sunday Times 100 Best Medium Company to Work for 2021 and Best Companies Two Star ‘Outstanding’ Accreditation in 2024.
In return for your enthusiasm and dedication we can offer you a great place to work, competitive salary, 25 days holiday (plus 3 additional days at Christmas), performance related bonus and other benefits.
Please send your covering letter, CV and portfolio to Eve Denney at firstname.lastname@example.org
