2010-11 England housing completions down 6 percent on preceding year
Annual housing supply in England amounted to 121,200 net additional dwellings in 2010-11. This is a 6 per cent decrease on the 128,680 net additional homes supplied in the previous year, and compares with a 23 per cent fall between 2008-09 and 2009-10.
London saw a decrease of 27 percent.

Within this, a total of 60,630 gross additional affordable homes were supplied in England in 2010-11. This is an increase of 5 per cent on the 58,010 (revised) affordable homes supplied in 2009-10 and the highest number since 1995-96.
