Senior Urban Designer - Turley

Sorry - Post now filled
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Senior Urban Designer to join our Southern design team whose work is national in its reach and collaborative in approach.  Turley create places of quality that deliver development value through the intelligent and expert application of the UK planning system. We work together with clients on compelling projects that deliver better places.
We are different from other planning consultancies. Our people are engaged co-owners of our company. Based in Bristol you will join a team where you can take on new challenges, contribute fresh ideas and where you will be encouraged to learn and grow.
We seek candidates who are highly confident, committed to their own development and at the forefront of professional best practice. You will have experience of meaningfully contributing to substantial masterplanning projects from inception to completion with particular emphasis on leading teams, client facing activity and managing junior designer inputs. Experience in frameworks to detailed residential design proposals, including layouts, elevations and sections and creative DAS production is particularly desirable.
A post-graduate qualification in Urban Design or relevant discipline is desired with solid experience in UK housing and mixed use projects gained in design and planning companies. Successful candidates will evidence creative thinking and high quality graphical communication. Proficiency in AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft packages will be essential with 3d computer modelling skills or hand drawing communication desirable.
Turley is an employee-owned business, operating from thirteen offices. We offer an excellent remuneration and flexible benefits package including a travel allowance, non-contributory pension, ownership dividend and performance-related bonus.
If you think that Turley could be the right move for you, please send your CV, portfolio, a covering letter and details of your current salary to Sophie Romain, HR Advisor:
No agency interest please.
The successful candidate must have permission to work in the UK by the start of their employment.
