Our landscape and townscape team is growing. Are you a qualified landscape architect and/or townscape professional with experience of landscape planning, townscape analysis, development advice and landscape/townscape and visual impact assessments? Turley are looking to appoint a landscape architect / landscape planner/townscape consultant  to assist with a wide range of projects including: landscape and townscape appraisals and feasibility studies; strategic urban and landscape planning studies; LVIA and TVIAs; landscape/urban strategies to assist with planning applications and local plan representations; and  planning appeals. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small and friendly team at a time when the team is growing and developing new fields of work. The position is based in our London office and works on projects across the UK for both private and public sector clients. (Alternative office location may be considered.)

You should be experienced in landscape planning and assessment work and/or townscape analysis and assessment to contribute to the planning and development process. You should have a detailed understanding of the built environment and design process with experience in assessment work, including application of the GLVIA methodology. You should also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and ideally, basic knowledge of using Adobe InDesign and Illustrator. Experience of 3D city modelling programmes such as Vu.City (or similar) desirable but not essential.
