The Urban Design & Conservation Team at Cambridge City Council blends innovative development with high quality design. This role is ideal for an ambitious, highly motivated person with a sharp eye for detail and relevant UK experience looking to develop their career as an urban design professional. You will hold a first degree in planning, landscape architecture or architecture and have a passion for urban design and will use his to assist in the research and preparation of planning design guidance to improve the quality of the City’s environment and contribute to sustainable development.
You will have knowledge of the UK planning system and understanding of how Urban Design can help to influence the creation of positive places. You will have clear and concise writing skills, be IT literate with excellent Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp skills and freehand drawing will be a natural extension of your creative abilities.
