Are you a strategic thinker?  Are you an experienced leader and passionate about green space?  CPRE London is actively looking for an enthusiastic supporter of green space in London to lead our Trustee Board and organisation to build upon our success as a respected organisation in the planning and development of London.  CPRE London provides evidence-based, well-reasoned and passionate campaigning.  WE have a long track record of achievement and are experts in the planning system and landscape character.  In addition to publishing reports, we  also help local campaign groups protect and enhance precious green space in Greater London.

 

Our current Core London Chair retires in May 2019.  Ahead of this, we are seeking to co-opt a Trustee as a ‘designate Chair” who will then be proposed for election to Chair at the May 2019 AGM.  The Chair is expected to lead the Trustee Board, ensure effective relations shapes between the Trustee board, staff/volunteers and external stakeholders, act as spokesperson as need and supervise and support eh Director.  

 

We are looking for someone with the right mix of material/leadrship skills and a willingness to lead to organisation forward to achieve success on its strategy.  This role is for a candidate who is interested in a range of issues around the natural environment and wants to t be part of an organisation that campaigns for the sustainable use of land and other natural resources to protect and enhance the environments and quality of life in London.
