STREET - Crossrail Walk

Sat, 21/04/2012 - 11:00am Forget 2012 and the Olympics...and remember 2018 and Crossrail!
Join us for a wander through the streets of the City, following the route of London’s biggest engineering endeavour since the Victorian era. Discover how this new underground railway will change the fabric of the City; marvel at the great big hole in the ground that used to be Finsbury Circus and contemplate life in the vast cavern of Farringdon’s new station. The walk will also include a trip along the high walks of the famous Barbican before ending with beer and chips in Clerkenwell.
The tour is being organised by Niltay Tosun-Erdem and will start at 11am. It will be cost free but places are limited please register via streetlondon@urban-design-group.org.uk .
