Indian Urban Futures II - How should medium sized cities grow?

This half-day symposium follows up last year’s highly successful event, drawing together practitioners, researchers and others with an interest in sharing good practice with cities undergoing rapid growth.

The theme this year is on Going to Scale and the results will be published as a draft manifesto to form the basis for practical experiments and further research by The URBED Trust and its partners.

Expert speakers and workshops will explore four key themes affecting Indian cities

today:

1.  Water resillience;

2.  Planning streets for people;

3.  Delivering low-cost housing;

4.  Engaging communities.
