Exhibition Road Walk

Sat, 25/02/2012 - 11:00am Exhibition Road is home to some of the most important visitor attractions in the country, a unique collection of cultural and educational institutions and London's most ambitious "shared surface" scheme.
The scheme is now completed - in spite of pressure from various campaigners - transforming the road into a place where cars and pedestrians are given equal importance, with little or no clear border between pavement and road.
This tour will first look at the award-winning Kensington High Street regeneration scheme, completed in 2002, and will then continue to Exhibition Road.
The tour is organised by Niltay Tosun Erdem. It will be cost free but places are limited, so please register via streetlondon@urban-design-group.org.uk
