Health & Urban Design - Issue 142 of the Journal
Guest editor Rachel Toms, Insight & Standards Manager of the Cities Programme at the Design Council, will introduce the topic and speakers, followed by 30-45mins discussion: do we need to amend our practice in the light of the insights provided to ensure we are designing environments that encourage active living, social cohesion and conviviality. What are the barriers and solutions to creating healthier places?
There will be brief presentations from 4 contributors to the Journal Issue followed by Q&A after each one, including:

Danny McDonnell from NHS England on the Healthy New Towns Programme
Graham Marshall on Yangzhou World Healthy City - via Skype
