Leo Hammond - Chair

Leo is an urban designer and town planner with over 14 years experience of master planning, regeneration and public realm design. Leo gained his initial qualifications at the Bartlett and won a scholarship to the Master in Advanced Urban Design program at UC Berkeley, California. Leo has been an active member of the Urban Design Group for 15 years and is also a Recognised Practitioner. 

Leo is an Associate at Pollard Thomas Edwards, playing a major part in the practice's master planning, estate regeneration, public realm, town planning and architecture work across a range of scales and contexts. Leo’s current and recent projects include design guidance, outline planning, detailed planning and feasibility studies in inner city and suburban London locations, Cambridge and Oxford. 

Leo is a Chartered Town Planner, a panel member of the Hackney Estate Regeneration Design Advice Group and an Urban Design Tutor for masters students at the Bartlett.
