STREET

STREET, the young urban designers' network, was launched to encourage young urban designers and built environment professionals to participate in the UDG and shape its agenda.

STREET is a platform to:

  • Network with other professionals, both those just starting out and others more experienced.
  • Learn, through the Urban Design Group's programme of events and talks.
  • Raise the profile of built environment professionals.
  • Strengthen connections between education and practice in urban design.

If you are interested in getting involved, please come along to the next STREET event (see below).  We are always looking for new members to help organise our initiatives and join STREET’s steering group. Contact streetlondon@urban-design-group.org.uk for more details.

Next STREET London event:

STREET LONDON has been getting together once a month for the past couple of years to compare notes and to hold forth about the joy of being a young urban designer. Over the past year we have been running a series of walking tours around London - followed by drinks and discusion - and we hope to contime with this formula over the coming months

We are also beginning to think about next year's programme. Please let us know if you are interested in hosting an event or activity. We would also welcome events outside of London and have some events over the next couple of months with our friends in the north.
